And says. 1650 with no exercise. I average. 20000 steps a day ! With exercise totaling. 500 calories burned. So I should eat. 2000 to maintain why can I not when I am only eating. 1500 I heard metabolism is messed up ? Thoughts. ?

I don't really understand your question. What is your goal? If you're trying to maintain your weight, MFP is saying eat 1650 calories a day... then you earn 500 exercise calories. I'd only eat back a little less than half of those exercise calories and see what happens over the next week or two. So... eat about 1800 calories.

I don't know what you are trying to suggest about your metabolism.

Agree with @DebLaBounty, context is needed.
Unless you have enough logged data to extrapolate your calorie burn through exercise, eat back either 50, or 75 % of your exercise calories.
Track the results and adjust up or down as needed.

It would take a lot to mess up your metabolism.
You probably need to tighten up your logging. Weigh everything with a digital food scale, and double check your entries against either the USDA, or the package, using grams not cups.

    Cheers, h.
