I don't get this

I have no idea how this whole community thing works. People are adding me and I'm adding them. I'm not sure what I'm supposed to do with that.

@abrennan4 When beginning, on Day 1 of a a mfp-friendship, you ask "Now what?. On Day 2, friend one announces "logged in", and then you experience this little feeling of "Atta girl for you and, oh, I logged in too, so one for me." If your lucky, friend one announces "lost 0.2 lb" or st and "has lost 5 lb" or st and you get another little feeling of "if she can do it, I can too." Then you go about your day logging your food and you notice friend one announces "Burned 350 calories". One again, you get a little feeling of "If she can do that, I wonder if I can, too." And then the hook is set and you start competing with friend one to bust *kitten* just as hard as she does because you want that fat *kitten* gone.4
