How do you all with spinal deformities calculate height?

I have pretty severe scoliosis and have gone from 5'4.5" (at least) to 5'2" (just barely). I'm using 5'4" to calculate things like BMI, goal weight, etc. Am I kidding myself?

I'm old, and I remember reading about this. They said to measure your regular height (in your case the 5.4). I remember because I said "are they kidding"? I have thinning bones. I would forget that BMI chart and set a goal that makes YOU happy.0

A healthy bmi range for 5-2 is 105-135. For 5-4 it's 110-145. So You can see it's not that big of a difference. A goal of 110-135 would put you in a good range for either height. You could use 5-3 as a compromise for MFP.1
