Hi everyone! I have plantar fasciitis and I'm trying to find a pair of shoes that will help with the pain I get after a long day on my feet and the gym! Does anyone have any suggestions?

Do you wear arch support inserts? That helped me more than anything.

Hello @Jennifer2332 , I purchased a piece of exercise equipment from Hammacher Schlemmer and use it often. So, I see ads from Hammacher Schlemmer. The last few days I've noticed they have device to stretch your feet to relieve the pain of pf. I am not offering an endorsement, but the product does exist and some of the reviews seem to like it. I'm not going to paste a link.

My husband, who suffers, did have orthotics but now he uses the Hoka One shoes and they seem to do the trick. He also uses some sort of device which is probably what the poster above was describing.

I have Vionic sandals which were worth every penny. The arch is very aggressive, but I can't imagine summer without sandals. I do quite a bit to manage my PF, but since you're just asking about shoes-I found Hoka One or Altra to be comfortable and have also used assorted insoles in all kinds of shoes with mostly successful results. Superfeet have worked well for me and I'm currently using Heel that Pain heel seats (which I like as well).

I've read wearing compression socks to bed helps tremendously. Seems a small investment for what could be a lot of relief. Also, take breaks thru the day to do the recommended physio.
