How many pounds a week have you chosen to lose?

    If you're referring to the option in MFP, I just did TDEE-20% so I didn't choose one. I'm getting about 1.5 to 2 pounds lost a week though.

    My TDEE is 2600 calories a day, my TDEE - 20% is 2000 calories a day, that's what I'm eating at right now.

    im also doing tdee-x% i set it to 15%, my tdee is around 3300
    thinking about changing to 20 or 30 % though

    i picked 1.5 lbs/week, but i average about 1.65 lbs lost per week. i eat back only 50-75% of my exercise calories back, so i'm losing faster than MFP is predicting.

    I think you're good as long as you stay around 1-2 pounds a week of weight loss. Of course it is going to be more in the beginning because you have so much water weight that is coming off. After that first initial week or two you should level off to around 1-2 pound a week.
