Hi everyone!
Can't even express how in 2 days my love for fitness and motivation has returned. Had to really push myself. I have been in pretty great shape with lots of hard work most of my life. I have 3 children and after the first two I worked my butt off, breastfed, and was able to get back into my "normal" pre-preggo clothes at a size 5 (I'm 5'4"). So just had baby#3 14 months ago and unfortunately couldn't breastfeed due to bilateral mastectomy after my middle child now 6yo. I thought I would spring back with hard work from the weight i was when I had her... a whopping 190#s-- with goal to be back down to minimum 130s. NOPE. Over a year later and have struggled to lose it all. Have been sitting around 160 for about 8 months. I haven't had the motivation to get back into the healthy lifestyle I lived during my "fit years. " I work f/t as a RN, have 3 kids, a husband that travels usually 3 days of each week when I'm not working, no babysitting, and in school f/t. I know that seems crazy but I usually thrive on crazy lol. Been depressed and anxious on and off ever since having my last lil one and just plateaued with somewhat healthy eating, too much wine, and way too little activity other than running around like headless chicken when I'm working or home after my kids.
Anyway, I know myself well and once something is routine to me and my goals are set, I go hard and get there if not further. I think I finally reached that place! I took "before" pics yesterday and excited to strive for even better than before.
Looking for anyone who has similar circumstances and goals to be MFP buddies, preferably women (no offense guys).
