Gaining weight for martial arts

Hello everyone, this is my first post.

I've been training mixed martial arts for a few months now, with the goal to compete in jiu jitsu and kickboxing after the one-year mark. My natural weight right now stays between 113 and 118 pounds (height is 5'4). My coach wants me to build up to around 125 in order to cut back down to 115 for competition. Getting a traditional gym membership in addition to my martial arts gym is not within my budget right now, so I'm limited to body weight, martial arts, and light weights like dumbbells and kettle bells at my house and the gym.

My question is, what is the best way to go about building roughly ten pounds of muscle? I try to work out at home and eat 1700 calories a day but I have not been able to push past 118. Advice would be appreciated, thanks in advance!

    Get on a good bodyweight program or dumbbell program. The key is progressive overload. Also, I don't know if there is a timeframe but women can't build muscle fast (~1lb per month) and about 75% of the weight gain will be fat, so you will need to cycle between bulk/cut to get to that point. And at some point, you may want to point where you can use a barbell program.
