Glucomannan Capsules (any experience?)

So I've bought myself some Glucomannan capsules as a trial to help me feel fuller for longer. I've been reading some good stuff about them on the internet but there were some conflicting reports about one aspect, some people reported being very bloated and constipated by them and other people reported that the fibre actually sped up their digestive system.
Just wondering if anyone has any personal experience to relate?

I use glucomannan too! I does not bloat me and as long as I drink lots of fluids I'm fine. It use to help keep me fuller longer but now I just use it as a fiber supplement especially if I'm eating a lot of dairy ( I use to be vegan but am now just vegetarian). I take it mostly out of habit at this point. I don't think it aides in weight loss. Eat less move more. Veggies have lots of fiber and nutrients so you would be just as well off if you ate them instead0

If you are looking for fiber, two things I like are chia seeds (mixed in a glass of water) and fiber one original cereal. Whenever you eat high fiber foods, make sure you drink plenty of water to avoid constipation.

I tried them years ago, they did work really well to keep me full/not hungry... at first, but after a week or so that side effect wore off. I probably could have upped my dosage, but where would it end, going by experience i would have ended up taking a butt load, which would have been unhealthy and frickan expensive.0

Yep! I paid $30 a bottle for less than a one month supply. I can buy a huge bag of psyllium husk powder for $10, which has the same effect but with ample amounts of fibre!1
