Blaze vs Apple Watch 2

I've been meaning to get a watch, and I thought hey, why not splurge a little and get a smart watch?

What do you guys think? Apple or fitbit? I have an active job as a server, and I mainly get excerisice through that, and walking in my neighborhood. I'm not really concerned about texting through the watch, although it does seem like a nice feature. Idk, blaze is on sale for $140, and the Apple Watch 2 is on sale for $300

As a device, I like the apple watch more than I liked my fitbits (charge and charge2, can't compare vs the blaze, but I think other than aesthetics, it's similar to the charge2). It also has a gps and a music player you can use if you don't wanna carry your phone around with you.

Battery life is way better on the fitbit and I sort of like the emphasis on steps over the ring ui system on the apple watch a bit better. Additionally, I think the fitbit reacts to hr changes a bit quicker.

I haven't gone back to my fitbit, though. For me, the apple watch has enough fitness functionality for me and the integration with so many apps the 90%+ of the time I have my phone near me is worth it.
