Paleo has been a huge help in keeping my sugars more even. If you're on Pinterest, there are a ton of great recipes on there...

Since you cannot go a long period of time without food, be prepared, you could make a baggie of nuts to keep in your purse. Keep a protein bar other healthy snack you can think of. I like to keep baby blue bell cheeses in my fridge.

If you are dealing with a reactive form of hypoglycemia, in other words, you suffer an attack within an hour after having meals, any high protein and low carbohydrate diet will help in controlling the blood sugar swings. If this is general hypoglycemia, going without food for 3-5 hours will cause a dip in your blood sugar, I'm not sure such a diet would be beneficial since you're essentially working through your glycogen stores and many diets are designed to burn through it and keep them low. I would suggest speaking with a medical professional in order to assess that such a diet would be beneficial first, and if you do go ahead with such a plan, to carry some snacks with you in case of blood sugar drops.

I'm with MidModJenn, eating paleo really helped a lot with blood sugar control!
