Hello everyone, my name is Teria!
I thought I'd introduce myself and tell everyone a little bit about me. (I know these forums can be judgmental so be kind please.)
I started out my journey for the FIRST time about 6 years ago. I started at 230 pounds, I'm 5'6. I got down to 125 pounds, felt so good in my own skin. It took me about 2 years to complete my 105 pound weight loss.
Two years ago, I had a lot of things happen in my life. My mom got cancer (I'm 22 years-old, very close to her). I'm also an emotional eater. I decided to go to nursing school because I developed a love for oncology, plus my mom would give anything in this world to see me be successful. I'm also a stress eater. I gained 40 pounds. I'm currently 165 pounds. Not obese, but a little overweight. I am now an oncology RN as of June 5th and my mom is in remission with her cancer.
My journey and point of round two is to lose the 40 pounds. I've done it once, I can do it again!
I'm feel very motivated and I work 12-hour shifts, not a lot of time to sit and snack for me anymore.
Looking for motivational friends to help me get this 40 pounds off.
Feel free to send me a message, friend request, or share your story with me

Welcome back and congratulations to your momma! That is huge!
Thank you for becoming a nurse, you're one tough cookie. I have several nurses in my family and work in a health department of my local college. Nurses are amazing human beings.
