No Gym Workouts!
Anyone explore different more fun means of exercise besides just the gym? I personally take MMA classes, Areial Lyra, and Acrobatic Yoga classes. Some of the best feelings come from exploring just how far you can push your body and how surprising the things you can accomplish are!

I do weights and cardio, other than that, I play co-ed softball and play centerfield. That gives me all the action I need.1

Most of my exercise and training is out of the gym. Lots of HIIT and body weight workouts. More fun and no one screwing up my workout standing in my way or wanting to talk about themselves for hours.2

Alternative to a gym? Yes I do that. Lifting heavy barrels, containers, climbing. Using various things to do pull ups and push ups.1

The one good thing about cross fit: now there's a lot of people that know how to move a tractor tire out of the road.3

I started doing yoga every morning on my front porch(I live in the mountains), I run about 3 times a week, do a kettle bell workout and other strength. I also hike and going to start trail running again this weekend I miss it1

Your life sounds amazing. I'd love to live in the mountains - have always been a retirement dream of mine haha. Do post pics of your yoga seshes / hikes / trail runs some time!0 -
I walk a lot of trails...got into bjj which is really really fun and great exercise.
I like doing some unconventional things sometimes like throwing a medicine ball and sled dragging...hitting a punching bag.
Walking is an awesome exercise almost everyone can get going for them... and it definitely works for fat loss.
But...it does take a long time and after some months it can get really really boring.
Sometimes I like putting on some tunes and dancing with my kids. That's pretty good exercise actually when you try acting like you are on Soul Train.
I tried acting like Techno Viking but it's overly tiring.
