Hi. I just completed gluteal goddess and would like to continue with Gorgeous Glutes. Since Goddess was advanced, the beginning part of Glutes seem a bit easy. Could I start with the harder workouts in week 5 and continue from there, instead of starting with the weeks 1-4 exercises?

And for those who did Glutes, did you add any upper body?

Lastly, I'm thinking for Glutes, wherever the exercise is a squat or deadlift I will go heavier with less reps - almost like marrying SC the strong lifts approach. 3 sets of 5. Would that be ok?

Thanks!

So I answered most of your question in the other thread, so I will just repost some of it here just in case others have the same concerns:

Coming from the advanced program you can add weights to bodyweight and barbell to dumbbell exercises. Alternatively you could start at weeks 5-8, which I think is pretty challenging since most of the exercises use a barbell. You run can also lower the weight and do a deload between the two programs too.

So when I ran the GG program, I added my own upper body... so a press and pull, and then accessories. It was OK but now I much prefer the original or full-body template as I can get more done in less days.

Personally, I wouldn't change the rep ranges. They are written that way for a reason. SC is a hypertrophy/physique program. While you get stronger, it isn't a strength program. Ultimately it will depend on your goals and if SC doesn't fit the bill, I wouldn't go changing it around...there are many other programs out there that are strength or a mix of strength/hypertrophy.
