If you're wanting to lose fat and keep it off, then you need to remember, that getting your eating right is all about trial and error.

Too many people think in terms of weight loss as if it makes you healthy and it doesn't. It's too short term minded and basing your results on weight loss or gain alone, will make you fail every time. So instead you need to be thinking in terms of life style. The important word here being life. This is a life long process and not something you just do to fit into that dress for the wedding or to get good results in that silly 12 week challenge. It's something you'll work on everyday for the rest of your life. It's time start making conscious healthy choices on a daily basis. It sounds daunting, but you just need to take it one day at a time.

What works for some, won't work for others, but you can always get some good tips off other people. So each week, you should be mentally thinking how your eating has been. Are you going in the right direction, or do you need to make some changes. Never be scared to try new things. Don't forget that the more you fail, the more ways you've found that don't work. Keep trying new things and adjusting until you get it right. It may take a week, a month, a year or even longer, but as long as you keep trying and never give up, you'll definitely get there in the end. Like I said, it's a life long process.

As they say good things take time. You need to try different ways of prepping food, storing food, combinations of foods and of course amounts. Test, adjust, test again until you get it right. And when you finally get it right, see if you can refine it even more or make it better. Do you eat 3 meals a day or 6. Carbs at night or none? You can prep all your meals once a week, or do it each night, ready for the next day. Either way, you'll know in a week wether or not your eating is on track. The best way to know is the mirror and your clothes.

So keep testing, adjusting and testing again, you'll eventually get it.
