300 calories a day average deficit

What would I expect to lose on this? I've lost 20lbs so far and down to my last 10 so thought I might slow down the weight loss a bit. I lost around 1 lb a week on 500 deficit a day, what would I expect to lose on 300 calorie deficit? Thanks!

To lose one pound it will take a week and a half instead one week.0

0.6 lbs/week (assuming accurate logging). Remember, 1 lb = 3500 calories. 500 cal deficit x 7 days = 3500 or your 1 lb/week. 300 cal deficit x 7 days = 2100 or 0.6 cal/week.2

Rule of thumb I've heard is 3500 calories to a lb, so 300/day would be a pound every 11.66 days, i.e. a bit more than a half a pound a week. My current monthly average is 300/day and I'm losing a little more than this, but I don't count walking calories and tend to round up fairly regularly.0

Thanks everyone! I'm happy with that so will stick to a 300 deficit for the last 10lbs I think.1
