Why am I getting hungry sooner?

I started meal planning this week. Protein smoothie for breakfast, prepped a lunch meal on Sunday for the week. On Monday morning, the smoothie kept me full until about 1pm which is when I normally take my lunch. Today, I've been hungry for about a half hour already. Is my body just getting used to the smoothie? I'm still drinking plenty of water (about to go fill my bottle). I'd appreciate any thoughts or advice.

I wonder if a small mid-morning snack of something solid might help - I feel like liquid meals aren't always as filling as they could be, calorie wise.3

I was wondering that myself. This is a pretty high calorie shake, so I'm thinking about switching it to something lower cal next week that will allow for something solid as well. I'm still experimenting with all of this!0 -
For me, my hunger levels are different on different days depending on hormones and/or activity the day before.5

I agree with this. Also, being hungry only half an hour earlier is not really a significant amount of time. It might just be that you were slightly more active, what you ate last night was slightly less satiating, your hormones are slightly different today, you are more bored/less distracted at that moment....many things. Stick with it and I'm sure it will settle down.0 -
It's one day, correct? Yesterday u were fine, today hungry. See how the rest of the week goes before making any changes.1
