Hi

I'm 10st4 and want to loose 2lb / week to get to 8st4 - I've set my goal to 1200 calories a day but not sure what my normal maintenance calories are - does it say anywhere ?
Thank you

Maintenance calories are different for every person. The 1200 calorie recommendation is the minimum that anyone should eat, ever, just to do daily basic functions.

You can look online for a TDEE calculator and it can tell you what your maintenance calories are for your height and weight.

Set your goal to maintenance and it will tell you. To lose 2 pounds a week, you would need a deficit of 1000 calories below maintenance. However, MFP will not set any female below 1200 calories, so you would not be able to reach that size of a deficit. You'll be better off aiming for 1 pound a week.

Height in cm x 12 is a good place to start for your maintenance calories. Make adjustments as needed.
