Halo Top ice cream helps with the that cravings. I've also started melting dark chocolate and dipping apples in it.4

When I do the following, I don't have cravings:
1. Get sufficient sleep
2. Exercise regularly - when I get the happy hormones from exercise, I'm not prone to seeking them from food.
3. Get sufficient protein in relationship to carbs. I'm not low carb, but reducing carbs and upping protein worked for cravings for me. See also http://www.nutrition.org.uk/healthyliving/fuller/understanding-satiety-feeling-full-after-a-meal.html
4. Eat moderate amounts of fruit. This makes me less interested in higher calorie sweets.
5. Take a magnesium supplement. This can be especially helpful for women premenstrually.
6. Save foods like chocolate for after dinner, in small amounts
7. Stay hydrated
8. Have a calorie deficit that is appropriate for the amount of weight I need to lose. An overly aggressive goal can definitely lead to cravings.
9. Eat at maintenance when my appetite goes up premenstrually.

Depends on what you crave exactly. It's different for all of us.0

Ahahaha... ugh PMS cravings. I usually eat what I crave until satisfaction/self-control but I bulk it with fruits/yogurts/other filling substances so I'm not eating my weight in chocolate syrup. Once my craving was for oreos and ice cream; I did oreos and raspberry sorbet instead and it was amazing. Um I won't tell you what other things I've craved and eaten. Sometimes I'm a pig.0

If I have cravings I sometimes melt dark chocolate and dip some strawberries.

For me it's ALWAYS bready stuff. Pretzels, pizza, rolls, brioche... not really sweet stuff. And an English muffin typically helps.0

And now I want everything you just named. *sigh* I have pre-measured out little baggies of salty snack foods that I grab if I want that (annoying at first, but it helps me regulate and is cheaper than grabbing multiple smaller bags from a store). If I want something sweet, there is always at least one pint of Halo Top in my freezer.0 -
Dark chilli chocolate, a really spicy starter at dinner time seems to help with cravings all evening, tablespoon of peanut butter on low cal rice cake with banana and or a protein bar depending on how many calories I have.0
