    My granddaughter has spina bifida she is 7 ! She also has Chiari ( of course since birth) she gets checked regularly her syrinx isn't causing her any trouble so far ! She walks and runs with her sisters but she will never content of bowel or bladder so she wears diapers !! She is such a blessing , and is very very smart . I know this is a very tough time for you guys but, have faith and I believe their is a reason for everything !! These battles make us stronger !! God bless you and big hugs to you both!!!
