Hi All,
I do HIIT training sessions, sometimes INSANITY workouts... anyone know how I should log this as there is pre-set selection and I don't know how to add it manually to make it accurate?

I take a 30 min Les Mills GRIT class, which is touted to be HIIT. It's in the database and could be similar to what you describe. I'm 5'6" and 127 and MFP gives me 275 cals burned for the 30 min class.0

There probably won't be any real reliable way to log it. I'd probably do something like 5-8 cals burned per minute, so if it were a 30 minute class/session, I'd do something like 210 calories. Whenever you talk about interval work, I'd error on the lower side if the rest intervals are longer or more frequent, and on the higher side if they are shorter/less frequent.
Hopefully that helps. And makes sense.1 -
