Why? WHO? I so want to reply to the ones who sent nudies--I am an old woman and not into nekkedness. Some appear to be female and some are male. I haven't opened any of those. YUCK. What about the ones that say they live close to me? I for sure do not want to know you that well. I love to shop Amazon but I know you aren't Amazon from your address. I know that I have or have not ordered anything lately. I say Go ahead and send the money--I don't care who it is that needs what-send me money and I can handle it. Of course, I have received a few IRS messages-Ha, in my last letter, I told you I had no money so why e-mail me? And, then that military guy in Afghanistan-that's not how the military works. I did open and forward your e-mail to the USA.gov site. And just who put my name and phone number into the wants insurance category. I don't. AND I am not interested in an extended warranty on the car-it was totalled in a wreck and none of your business what I drive now. It will not make a difference if you talk to my husband and I am not liable for whatever he might have told you when you talked to him before--but if you do talk to him again, tell him I am mad at him for dying.
How or what do spammers get paid? I won't open much of anything but is there an unsubscribe button if I did? I know--just delete and go on but I get more spam than real messages. Does anyone have a true and factual way to end spam in my box?

Same, I wasted like 5 seconds of my time reading it before the utter disappointment kicked in that it wasn't about square cans full of deliciousness.

Stop using the same email to sign up for things. You can have more then one email. Also, you don't have to give your email out most of the time. 9 times out of 10 any place where you sign up with your email will sell it to advertisers.

Me too. I threw some leftover Spam in my meatloaf the other day. It was delicious.

Never open a spam email, just DELETE it! Never try to unsubscribe, that just verifies your email address to the spam sender.
