Starting Weight on MFP

Hi everyone!
The starting weight I imputed into MFP was the weight I was at when I joined MFP.
I'm wondering if I should have put in the weight I was when I actually started tracking my measurements properly which was well before I found MFP (my highest weight was 205ish, prolly more though I stopped weighing after I saw that, but I only started tracking at around 196lbs).
I searched the forums, but most posts concerned how to change the data rather than my question.

As far as I can tell, this is a personal preference item. The starting weight just gives you a feel for your progress as displayed on your home page and in reports.0
