Bulking, heavy lifting and...body temp increase?

So I finally got serious about a week ago. Starting lifting heavy and keeping track of what I eat.
Keeping track of what I eat was eye-opening. I now realize I was eating slightly under my maintenance amount most days for most of my life up to this point (I'm 27).
I'm already seeing what appears to be a little muscle gain...after one week. It's crazy.
My body temperature (oral) has always been around 97.9, almost a degree cooler than average. I often wore long sleeves when most other people wore short sleeves (spring time, 60-degree weather).
Today, I felt hot right after my shower. Now, I know that a hot shower can increase body temperature about a degree. But I was curious, so I took my temp...a few minutes after getting out. It was 99.4!
So, that means that my normal body temp is likely going to be around 98.4 or so now. I'm also feeling like I have more energy and need less sleep (I felt best with 8-10 hours of sleep a night before).
Also, I'm feeling a bit buzzed right now (enrgetic but also anxious). (Last night I ate about 1000 cal within 2 hours of going to bed b/c I had gotten up late and gotten behind by the time the end of the day rolled around.
I feel like my brain is working better, too. I can think faster. I can yell louder. I feel stronger...
Anyone else experience such things in the early days of eating a surplus? I'm guessig it's just a phase and my body will adjust soon.
I think I'm going to have to take up meditation!
Thanks.

Bulking is glorious!!!!
Temp is now "down" to 98.7.
98.4 to 98.7 seems like it might be my new normal.0 -
posterior hypothalamus is what controls sympathetic drive, and regulates body temperature upwards.
so, it makes sense that if you're blasting your sympathetic system with some intense weight routines, you'd "hype up" your body temp too0 -
I don't know any specifics or science behind it. but I know with exercizing and now lifting, I am able to maintain my body temperature better. I am not FREEZING in the cool weather nor BURNING in the warm weather. I know a few people that don't seem to be able to regulate/mintain their core temperature well.. and they also are not in good shape.
I don't think I have ganied muscle eating at a deficit, BUT I have lost a percents in Body Fat but NOT lost any scale weight. I know I am not bulking or truly gaining muscle that it is just a newbie bonus.
I do have more energy and though my migraines were WORSE the first coupe weeks of ifting (the squats with weights torqued my back muscles and sent spasms up my neck to my head and triggered bad migraines)- NOW I actually have fewer migraines. (just a bit fewer, butt anything less is good in the world of chronic migraines)
I have not taken my temmpereature in YEARS though.
(<-- 41 yrs old- alwayss active day-to-day life, till my kids were middle school age, then I got relaxed, sluggish, etc... started back into making myself be active a few years ago and added weights a few months ago. I feel great again!)0
