Intermittent fasting and shift work

Ok, so I've apparently been doing intermittent fasting on my days off without even realizing it (lol) I'm not a breakfast person what so ever. I love my morning coffee and going to the gym after.
I work shift work. It switches every 2 days. So basically nights 7pm-7am and then days 7am-7pm.
So basically my schedule flips back and fourth a lot with 2-3 days between each flip if that makes sense.
Anyone have suggestions on how to intermitten fast while doing this?
I'm really hungry on night shift. Day shift I can usually hold off my eating until about 11-12 but then I want to eat a whole cow haha

Why are you choosing to do IF if it doesn't fit with your life? It's just a way to eat all your food in an eating window - so it's an eating schedule. Nothing more. No magic.
I mean, I eat that way normally but I am not militant about the actual hours. I just eat starting a few hours after I get up and stopping a few hours before bed. Pretty simples.0 -
I think I'm choosing to eat that way because it fits with my work because I'm stuck in a car for 12 hours and I'm alway busy.
There's also a lot of benefits to it so I'm just trying to make it work or see if anyone has a way they do it while switching back and fourth on shift work.

When you wake up, wait four hours then eat. Stop eating four hours before bed.
There is no magic to it, it isn't even about specific o'clocks. What are the benefits you feel are gained by eating at specific hours as opposed to just eating in a certain time frame?
I do 16:8, and you could do that too. I mean, you're not eating for those eight hours of sleep. Delay eating and then quit eating eight hours after your first meal. It's simply a way of bracketing your food intake. There are no biological advantages.
What does the car have to do with it? Can you take a 15 minute break sometime during that 12 hours to eat?

I do the 16:8 when I can. It's just that flipping from nights to days. The first night shift I'm up at a normal hour then go into work for 12 hours so I'm basically up for 24 hours. There is no 8 hour sleep.
Barely take a 15 minute break. It's basically eat and drive and type. Job is demanding.
