Okay so im trying to lose the last couple of pounds , my weight keeps moving from 108 to 109 for the past 4 weeks . My goal is to actually get a flat tummy but im guessing 100-104 pounds will get me there ? Anyways ive moved down my calories from 1700 to 1200 starting tomorrow . i want to get rid of this fat in at least 3 weeksbefore school starts and yes i did lose about 15 pounds over the summer so dont call me lazy for not losing more . any tips and advice on losing these pounds and im also gonna consume enough protien to keep my muscle and an extra question is # does cardio kill off muscles or destroy it if i do it everyday after strength training? and is losing 2-3 pounds a week also taking away muscles ?

You decide which pounds are the last, but your body decides how fast, and whether, they can come off. 2-3 pounds a week is a realistic goal for someone who weighs 300 pounds. A flat tummy is a vague, and for most women, unrealistic goal. Your weight fluctuates naturally up to several pounds from day to day. Nobody calls you lazy for not losing fast, in fact, people here encourage patience and healthy weight, healthy weight loss and healthy weight loss rates.

It may not be realistic to lose those pounds within that timescale. At your weight, half a pound a week is the max, and it may take longer than that. Puzzled as to why you need to lose the weight before school starts. Do they weigh you before they let you into classes or something?

Flat stomach is not tied to any particular weight. You may get one, you may not. And it may be flatter than you realise right now. Your eyes do not tell the truth about your own body shape. Most people think their stomach bulges more than it really does, especially when looking down on it from above.

    How old are you?

    How tall are you?

Are you sure 100-104 is a realistic and safe goal?

You need about 4 months of consistent deficit (of 250-300cals per day) to get from 109 to 100.
