Thats because birdies eat sunflowers not bacon. How would that little bird know what the difference is >:(

Um... birdies are omnivores. I see cardinals in my ferals' cat food all winter. All I can say to the birds is, "You are what you eat and if you're eating cat food..."

Also, I know that birds often eat those of their own who are unlucky enough to fly into buildings and not survive. So, not only omnivores, but cannibals.

Yeah I had realized what I said after I posted it. Crows and ravens eat dead meat, but I dont think Ive ever seen smaller birds eat each other...

Pigeons do. It's rare for sparrows, but it happens.

I actually had to call animal rescue yesterday, a massive seagull was giving a baby pigeon a beating, attempting to kill it & fly off with it. Ended up sat with the pigeon in my kitchen for around an hour until help came. I asked the guy if the seagull targeted it cos it was so young but he said seagulls attack anything. Iv never understood why so many people hate seagulls now I can kinda see why. Then again it's just nature but hard to stand by and watch a wee bird pecked to death

It's a way of life for birds. I was going swimming in the creek one time and on my way a guy was holding a baby deer, said his dog got ahold of it. But yeah, seagulls are @ssholes. They'll attack people too

I've been chased and hissed by a goose before. It tickles when they bite your rump

I know I hate when my cat gets in my face after she's eaten. I don't think I could eat her food. Luckily, she doesn't like the fishy stuff so if I was to be paid $1,000,000 I would totally do it.

I volunteer at a cat shelter. One cat eats his wet food with his paws...and flings it off when he is done.

I haven't "eaten" cat food, but I've tasted it. The smell is worse than the flavor.

As annoying as this massive zombie resurrection is, I have to say this is a very important question, to which my answer is yes.

Meow Mix dry cat food isn't bad. I used to like to eat it at my friend Lorraine's house when I was a kid. I was really hungry and protein-starved, I think.

Haven't tried canned food. Never tasted dog kibble or treat that I liked, but haven't tried much.

Last weekend I was menaced by an osprey.
