Help me the journey, new runners and others!

So I've been on MFP for a while now and so far it's been a good story, I'm certainly healthier and weight a good but less than before however I still have a good way to go - 20kgs (about 44lbs).

I've taken up running and have managed to crawl my way around a10k (90mins) having said that I don't do enough running and for various reasons had several weeks 'off' so I'm back to doing 2-3k at best. I also have a gym membership but it's not doing too much to be honest.

I've found that I'm struggling with motivation or should I say lack-of. I seem to be quite time-poor and I make the quick and easy but ultimately poor food choices.

I can't be the only one? There must be other runners or new runners who have lapsed and trying again? Or maybe there's a PT out there who can just tell me to get up and run in my feed and keep me going! :-)
