Lightly active or active?

I walk on treadmill for 3 hours every day. I go to the gym 3X a week. Do about 30 to 45 minutes of cardio and do a number of weight machines. Should I use lightly active or active in my MFP goals? I'd like to lose 1 pound a week. Thank you.

Neither, unless you have a job where you aren't sitting at all times. MFP's activity level doesn't include exercise, which is why you log it and eat those calories back.

I guess that leaves sedentary. Thank you for helping out.

This is all purposeful exercise. When MFP is asking about activity level, it is asking if you have an active job, like construction, lightly active would be more like food service or chasing kids around. Log the exercise as exercise.

Thank you for your help. I was confused.
