“How Many Licks Does It Take
To Get To The Center Of A Tootsie Pop?”
Well..
A group of engineering students from Purdue University reported that its licking machine, modeled after a human tongue, took an average of 364 licks to get to the center of a Tootsie Pop. Twenty of the group's volunteers assumed the licking challenge-unassisted by machinery-and averaged 252 licks each to the center.1 -

I wonder if the licking machine produces saliva like a real tongue would, that would account for the fewer licks in the human trial.1 -

I think that the student test subjects had more experience than the 'licking machine'.1 -

Somewhere in the Brazilian Amazon, this moth is literally drinking the tears out of a bird's eye in the dead of night.
Actually, drinking the tears of your neighbors is common enough in biology that it has a name: lachryphagy.
Tear-drinking is a relatively common way for insects like butterflies, moths and bees to supplement their diets.

The guidelines are set up to make it harder for people that don't know the Community Guidelines to break them thus getting this thread shut down.
If anyone wants to know why they can reference the last 2 meme threads. Both of which were shut down because noobs didn't know the Community Guidelines.
