How long have you been at a weight plateau?
When I was heavier, it was weird. I'd stay the same weight for about 3-4 weeks, then WOOSH. Suddenly down a few pounds post-period.0 -
I can't help you at all with the carbs, paleo, whatever...but I have found that sometimes I will lose a few pounds and the inches are the same...then a month or so passes, and my weight may stall, but when I measure I've lost a few inches. Sometimes it happens in waves.1

Are you measuring correctly? Also we lose weight all around our body it can be the neck . Back. Hands . Ect .. weird places keep that in mind0

Changes in size always take way longer than changes in weight. As simple as that.1

I was actually talking from personal experience as well as from experience of people around me that I know. It probably is highly individual, but I can lose 5kg in a month without seeing single cm of change in size. After another month reduction of size is there, even if I haven't dropped any significant weight that month.0 -

The problem is that you stated it as a universal fact.
"Changes in size always take longer than changes in weight. As simple as that."
See? Stated as fact. When yes, it is in fact highly individual, though, reading the "how much weight do you lose before you drop a size" threads do show it to be the more common way of things.
Personally, I can drop a full pant size before I see a 5lb loss. Yes, it's highly unusual, but *shrug*.
We all lose scale weight and inches/cm at different rates, OP, You just have to be patient. A lot of where you lose inches from and in which order can also really depend on you body shape as well. As in your base shape, apple, hourglass, pear, etc.
I'm an extreme hourglass, so inches drop off my waist in a blink, because my frame just DOESNT want to keep extra there, then my hips my slowly, then my boobs insanely slowly.
For other ppl they lose boobs first and waist last. For some it's the back fat that melts away. Or thighs, or calves.
MEASURE EVERYTHING. Neck, shoulders, waist, hips, bicep, forearm, upper thigh, mid thigh, calf, wrist, etc etc.
I don't measure my wrists, and never noticed they were getting slimmer until I found myself using the second to last hole on my Fitbit strap.
