Any SCUBA divers or biologists?

I'm an advance open water diver, certified in 2007 for a volunteer coral research project. I'm also a fisheries biologist in Alaska. I'm looking to get my divemaster in the near future, and move into scientific diving. Most of my coworkers are in great shape, and I'd like to join them! Plus, losing weight would definitely help with air consumption! :D
