What are the best % for carbs, fat, proetien each day?

I don't want to cut out carbs as a lot of the veggies I like are carbs, but what do people normally aim for % based nutrition each day?

    There is no "best"...macros are a pretty individual thing. Personally I try to get anywhere between 0.6-0.8 grams of protein per Lb of BW...0.8 would put me right around 1 gram per Lb of LBM...I'm usually closer to 0.6. anywhere from 0.35-0.45 grams of fat per Lb of BW and round out the rest with carbs.

    ETA: I'm not particularly strict with my macros..I think they're good to be generally aware of in regards to proper nutrition, but a lot of people worry about this way too much.

    That would depend on your goals and your personal preference. I like a balance of all three macros, so I think mine is set to 40% carbs with 30% of fat and protein. Long term it's what I stick to the best, but I also don't worry about being strict with my macros.

    The best macro breakdown is whatever meets some basic minimums for protein and fat, suits your individual tastes, and helps keep you satiated. Some prefer lower carb, others don't.

    You can start with the MFP default and adjust as needed to your personal preferences.
