Saying Yes to the Dress in October

Hi All,
I'm 26 and will be getting married next June.
I've been told I need to buy my dress 8+ months in advance - so I'm looking at October.

Once the dress is bought, I've read they can be altered down 1-2 sizes without issue. SO!
I have 2 months to lose weight so that I can buy a smaller dress and have more options... and after that I need a slow steady loss that will keep me within 2 sizes of that dress for an entire year

Ive been in the bridal industry for 11 yrs.
    a few things to consider:
Will u be having bridal portraits before your wedding day- if u are, you'll need to have your gown altered and ready by that date- which can be a month or two before your wedding. Alterations can take up to a month to complete. So, October could be pushing it. Check the designer and find out the seam allowances in the gown. Most gowns can be altered down up to 3 sizes, and taken out one. If you know ur going to lose the weight, go shopping now, order your gown a size smaller, and alter smaller if necessary. If no body changes happen, at least u know it can be let out. Best wishes and good luck in your journey....
