Benefiber

Okay, so I have a very large deficit for my calorie intake/day, and the weight has started to come off rather quickly. Along with that, I lost three inches off my waist alone (I haven't kept track of my other measurements as religiously, but I know I've lost at least an inch and a half off my thighs). Life's good and I'm happy, but (and I'm only guessing at the reason here) because my calorie intake is so low, I've cut out a lot of fiber I used to eat. To make up for that, I've started taking benefiber. It's working great, but unfortunately, it seems to be adding the inches back on my waist. My weight isn't increasing (in fact, it's still going down), but I'm very upset about the measurement of my waist (a great deal of my self esteem is wrapped up in those numbers. I know it's not good). Has anyone taken benefiber before? Is this permanent or is my body just adapting to it? Are there other methods I can use? Any help appreciated.

At least 1000 cals/day, though in fairness for the past two days my gym has been closed so it's been closer to 700.0

I use miralax every other day to avoid bloating & the carbs that you get from benefiber.1

After my last colonoscopy, the gastro Dr. recommended Miralax to me. The Dr. said it is not harmful for me to take it every day or even every other day. Dr. also said there are generic names for Miralax, which work the same and are cheaper. I purchase mine at WalMart.0
