Three weeks ago at this very moment, I was lying on the Operating Table, about to undergo 7.5 hours of Heart Surgery to repair my Mitral Valve. Today, I surpassed the 12 minute mark Planking (Prone), 46 min HIIT Beach Hike and 25 minutes of weight work. I'm not going to lie, my friends, it ain't easy and there is pain, but the reward is feeling like a million. Remember, it's okay to hurt, it's just weakness giving one last scream as it leaves your body! I have experienced A LOT of wasting over the last three months but I WILL REBUILD!!! Our bodies are made to recover from attacks, and there WILL be many onslaughts during our lifetimes. The trick is to adapt and roll with the punches. In skydiving, when you hit the ground, you either hit running or rolling, life is the same way! Always hit the ground running and NEVER let anyone fill your mind with doubt and toxic misbelief! After my surgery, the surgeon came to talk to me. He said "Mike, your Mitral Valve is now working perfectly; however, your heart muscle is a different story," and for the very first time, a doctor attempted to place an expiration date on my life; and restrictions, not on what I should or should not do, but what I should EXPECT to not be able to do. I told him that NOBODY knows my capabilities but me and no one knows how many days we have except The Man Upstairs. Whatever the case, whether you have many many years left or just a few hours, you must stay in the now and treat each and every moment like the party Life truly is, it's just TO INCREDIBLY AWESOME to miss one single moment! 3y7c3vqtd731.jpg
