I just ate 3,000 calories worth of food for the past two days because people opened their home to me for a weekend and I didnt want to be rude and refuse so it went downhill from there. Will this affect the ten pounds I have lost over the last 3 months???
I'm scared it probably has
Does anyone know?

3,000 calories is not that much. That's many people's daily intake! Just move on with your life and it will be fine. It's one weekend out of the many to come.
Oh, and no..this won't make you gain weight. You might lose the next pound a bit later than you expected...but you won't gain.0 -
It says I gained 4 lbs maybe it'll come off in a couple of days0

3000 is a pound I think, so it won't be responsible for the whole 4 lbs, which could be extra water from eating salt. I put on 3+ KGs when I was on holidays and it came off in 2 weeks. Just get straight back on the bandwagon, you only fail if you give up!

3,000 in two days?! no big deal! and i've learned even if you go off course every once in a while you will never instantly gain 4 lbs! it is totally water retention from salty foods or (in my case) alcohol bloat on the weekends sometimes
don't stress or else that'll pack on more lbs!0 -
it's water. give it a few days. (3500 calories = pound)0

You stressing over nothing , it wont affect the 10pounds you lost . You gained water weight and glycogen retention weight . Most people give up after a binge / the breaking point of a diet. Don't give up and get back on track today .0 -
I have been eating 3500-4500 for three days, litrally couldn't control myself (ate 300 grams of usual and 200 grams of peanut butter right before bed and stuff like that),every single day and haven't gained a pound. But the day after the last overeating session I had 7kg more than my usual on a scale,i was eating completely normal for the next few days(not loosing just maintaining) and the weight got back to normal so don't stress over it. It will all regulate just get back to eating normally and don't starve yourself.0
