Hello I'm trying to figure out if my bmr changes when I'm active vs if I wasn't active? When I use a bmr calculator is goes from saying 2,400 calories a day to 3,200. so I need to know if thats what I burn at rest all day or if that means its including exercise calories. I also add my calories to mfp so would I burn 3,200 calories and plus my exercise calories or does my bmr go up also. I'm trying to lose 3.5 pounds a week and any help would help thanks.

It sounds like what you are using is a TDEE calculator, which includes exercise.
What are your stats (height, weight, goal weight)?0 -
BMR is at rest. This only really changes significantly if your weight goes up or down. And BMR is calculated with you doing NOTHING physically. So just resting or laying there.
TDEE is your total daily energy expenditure with includes BMR, NEAT, TEF and exercise.
