Fear of gaining weight back

I've maintained my goal weight for around 8 months now with mild fluctuations of 2-3 pounds. I weigh myself daily and don't get caught up or anxious about what the scales say, but I have days where I see people I've known for years suddenly balloon within a span of several months and seeing weight gain to the point of being overweight and/or obese (I used to be obese myself at 158 at 5'1. Lost 55 pounds and kept it off until meds made me gain 10 pounds, but I've managed to reach my goal weight again.) really triggers anxiety in me.

Some days I don't notice my weight loss and don't have a fear of gaining weight, but other days I become obsessed with my figure and I have a habit of analyzing/comparing my body to others. Especially just coming back from vacation overseas where my body type is considered the norm.

Any advice? Am I just being irrational?

Be vigilant. Be mindful. Take care of yourself.

In the end, I lost the last 40 lbs on Weight Watchers. Been at goal almost 11 yrs. I tracked WW points for five years before I could maintain without tracking. But twice when the scale started moving up, I went back to tracking until I regained control.

No need to be anxious, the pounds don't appear by magic. Just take appropriate action when needed.
