Mountain biking and fitbit burn

Hi all I just purchased a Fitbit charge 2 and love it. Does anyone have an opinion on whether the calorie burn is accurate, generally and accurate for activities like mountain biking? It seems like it would be; for instance I went in a 2.5 hour mountain bike ride with about 1300 feet of climbing over 13 miles and it gave me about 800 calories. Thanks!
