What is ketosis and how does it work?

    It's when your body uses ketones as fuel instead of glucose due to a lack of available glucose in the body. Ketones are created by the liver breaking down stored fats, so in most it would start slowly burning off any fats stored in the body more easily.

    Anyone else following a ketogenic diet? I restarted 2 weeks ago trying for weight loss.

    I've been on a ketogenic diet for like a month and a half and I've been feeling great. You can find a lot of good information on YouTube over ketosis. I'm pretty active but have gain weight die to an ankle injury. I don't look at the scale but I've lost at least 10 lbs and I can definitely tell when I look I the mirror

    I've been following for 4 weeks. Gradually cut down my carbs for the last 6 weeks and gradually getting closer to being in ketosis. I have lost 12 pounds so far and am feeling great. No more brain fogs, better concentration, no more heart burn...
