Hey folks,
Not really sure what to put here to distinguish me from the crowd, but anyway.
I'm now 30 days in on this thing, logging diligently, enjoying it and finding it's having a real impact.
So after one month I'm now over a stone lighter. I've got about 3 more to go, I think.
Im 6ft and looking to get to about 12 stone. I was somehow* at almost 16 until the girlfriend recommended me this.
I've never dieted before, never been one to care about my weight. So the plan is to get to a healthy size and be happy with me. I'm not really one to lift weights or anything, that's just not my style. I just want to be slimmer and get fitter.
Little bit hindered at the moment, as I discovered the pain in my foot I've had the last month is actually a fractured metatarsal, but I can walk that off, right?
Anyway, my diary is open to anyone and everyone and the moral support is gratefully appreciated.
*i know how... ugh.
And the about me? I'm English, 27, taken etc etc. Work in London and always lived a few hours from work but I'm moving closer (Surrey) next month. Means I'll be close to the other half as well as closer to work. Sadly I'm between tenancies for a few weeks and shacked up at the parents - they are currently the biggest hindrance to this than anything. They mean well but are actually pushers when it comes to food.. doesn't help working in an office either as its fairly sedatory.
I'm really happy with the start, hoping to make it a long term lifestyle change. So far, so good.

Welcome! This place is The Best for support. I live in Oregon, USA, so I don't know what a 'stone' is, but kudos for losing! Keep up the good work.0

.
Thanks everyone!
I do prelog Cindy, if I make lunch or plan breakfast etc. I have a bit of a routine going there.
What's c25k?0 -
c25k is couch to 5k...its a trainning program for people who cannot run a 5k race. It helps you build up to it little at a time. I am an ex-smoker and its been pretty easy (so far)0
