Looking for feedback

So I was very unhappy about how I looked and felt so I decided to try and make some changes in my life, I have just completed 30 day shred and while I don't feel like I am "dieting" I have become much more aware of what I put in my body. I don't have a scale and didn't take measurements but I did take a before and after photo of the last 30 days, I am not able to post it but I did put it as my profile pic so you can see it there. I truly don't see much difference and am a bit disappointed after seeing so many amazing before and after shots.

I can see a difference but you look like you don't have tons to lose so a thirty day shred may not make a huge difference. The closer you get or the less you have to lose the slower it's going to come off. If it makes you feel any better, been there before! I am starting P90 with some add ins from Butt Bible and kicking it off week one with a detox. I'm on a 90 day mission to get body happy before my vacation end of October. I want to look good walking around the beach in my swimsuit!!!0

30 day shred isn't that much of a workout if you're looking for big body changes. It's made for the average housewife who wants to feel good about having worked out. If you want to do some serious body shaping you need to get into real strength training mixed with some cardio.0

What do you recommend for books or video that would give me that type of workout? I'm a little lost on where to start0

New Rules of Lifting for Women or Stronglifts 5x5 are often cited as good places to start if you want to start lifting. There is a Women's Stronglifts group that would be a good resource.0

I'm sure there is a difference, but it's hard to see in your pictures. Next time, try to take your befores and afters in the same lighting/clothes/distance from your mirror... also, totally agree about lifting since you don't have much to lose! Good luck!0

You do look like you have more ab definition. I personally like the 30DS, but if you have access to a gym and heavy weights, then a lifting program would work really well for you. If you don't have access to a gym or the ability to buy new dumbbells in 5 lb increments every week, 30DS isn't a bad place to start until other arrangements can be made.0
