Should I get this bike?

http://archive.fujibikes.com/archivebikes.php?prodid=813&prodname=Finest 2.0

I have an older fuji right now : https://store.bicycleczar.com/47cm-Vintage-FUJI-Club-Fuji-12-Speed-Touring-p/02130108.htm

Will this ride better/ similar to what I already have?

Does this have the gear shifters near the brakes?

It's $300 and used for around 50-100 miles. Is that a good deal?

    Meh.

I don't see any real compelling reason to switch. What do you dislike about your bike that this one does better?
Are you running into issues in competitions/group rides?

But yes, I believe sora shifters have a little shift lever behind the brake lever (or integrated with it, I can't recall.)

I want a bike that has the shifters near the brakes, not like a mountain bike but like newer road bikes. i love my old school bike but group rides kick my *kitten* every time so i can't keep up. also i havent learned how to use those types of gears and i dont like going one handed to change speeds or whatnot

A new bike is always a good idea if you can afford it! Its great for motivation, you'll want to get in the saddle and do the miles.
This bike has index shifters on the brakes, they are the lower spec ones with a button to change up and to change down you press the brake lever inwards. You'll love it after using a frame mounted gear lever.

You can probably convert your bike to that style of shifter relatively inexpensively. Requires a little bit of know-how.

though if you want all new, I'd suggest saving your money and getting a 'last year's model' soon, with 105 shifters.
