Hi , just wanted to see if anyone has the same problems with ear buds and if so which brand they recommended ?
So I workout pretty much every day , a lot of cardio and I am a big sweater . I'll be jogging up the stair master just pouring sweat from my face . Thing is every ear buds I've bought so far hasn't lasted more than a few weeks . They either turn off and never turn on again from the sweat or says shutting down when I'm sweating bad . They will sometimes turn back on once dried , but the last few have just died completely .
Is my only option to buy waterproof ones that are 100 bucks + or anyone out there who are huge sweaters have any luck with a good pair of water resistant ones ?
Thanks for any feed back !

My wife was leaving the little charging flaps open on hers and the result was untimely failure of the device from sweat...

Which brands have you tried? I sweat a lot and have had great results with YurBuds as long as I avoid the style with the volume control/mic built into the cord (my sweat got into that and shorted it out).

I use a waterproofed iPod and headphones when I swim but maybe they'd be good for you too? Got mine from amazon- underwater audio.

I sweat like mad and my Bose ear buds are 2+ years old. The pair before them lasted 7 years.

I think magic buds , hussar, a few other brands all have done same. They don't have the volume /mic on the cords. I've heard good things on yurbuds maybe give those a try

Thanks , ya I always have those closed ..I just think the sweat pools or something in my ears and gets in there and just destroys them lol. I also think I sweat a lot more than the normal person , so maybe water resistant is not for a huge sweater like me

Thanks , I'll look into that . That's what I was thinking , getting buds meant for swimmers since my head literally looks like I was in a pool anyway lol .

I'll look into these too , thanks ;) I know they're pricier but at this rate I'm prob spending just as much replacing mine every 2 weeks :(

These JVC Gumy headphones are sweatproof and $25. I've had a pair for 2 years and no issues.
