Look at weights/calorie amounts without changing stats.

I'm interested in seeing what my maintenance calories would be at different weights as I want to see what a reasonable long-term goal weight would be for me. But as far as I know, I would have to change my weight to the different numbers to see. Wouldn't MFP then count that as a weight log?
I want a way to play around with the numbers, without having it added to my actual logs. Is there a way to look at different numbers without officially adding/changing things?

If you want to play with it through MFP without actually logging changes you could always create a second account for that purpose.0

Nope, it will skew the numbers. I have a massive drop in my Trendweight graph when i was checking my maintenance numbers at a lower weight.
I also fiddled around with my activity levels a few times. Tip: Do NOT forget to change it back once you're done!
It would be so helpful if you didn't have to "save changes" to see the results.1 -
Plus - MFP would only be giving you non-exercise daily burn at those different weights, not with any exercise included.
You can go get your BMR under MFP - Apps and select different weights.
Then for the non-exercise days use the following which MFP uses (which is based on some recent research):
Sedentary - BMR x 1.25
Lightly Active - x 1.4
Active - 1.6
Very Active - 1.8
If you want to include planned exercise in there you are likely to keep doing, at different weights, then use this:
Just TDEE Please spreadsheet - better than rough 5 level TDEE charts from 1919 study.

Hi heybales,
How do I get my BMR in MFP? At the moment I don't use TDEE as I don't really have a set workout schedule, so finding BMR and doing the calculations would work well for me.0 -
MFP - Apps - BMR
You can also use the spreadsheet and just don't enter in workout time.
It uses the same multipliers as MFP because it is good research studies they base those values on.0
