Focus on control

Just weighing yourself is too much focus on the result and I need more focus on the effort. What am I doing to change my weight?

Also weight is not the actual aim. It's health happiness self esteem....
I want to focus less on the measure and more on what I can control.

Do...
Drink more water. But in small sips not gulps. Small glass regularly rather than bottle full infrequently.

Walk more. At least 30 minutes planed walking in addition to required walks.

Take the stairs.

Eat fruit first. Especially breakfast.

Stand more. Don't always look for a seat. Such as on the bus or train
