The past 2 times when I have manually entered calories burned from exercising, MFP has not shown calories burned for my Fitbit steps. Has anyone else had this issue?

MFP calculates the Fitbit Calorie adjustment based on a projection for the entire day, which will include Fitbit steps.

When you log an activity in MFP (which should only be non-step based, let Fitbit count all step based activity), the Fitbit Calorie adjustment will be reduced in order not to double count the Calories burned during that time period. Make sure your start time for any activity logged in MFP has the correct start time.

Depending on how many Calories MFP estimates for the activity logged directly to MFP, the Fitbit Calorie adjustment could be reduced, zero, or even negative, depending on your MFP Activity Level setting (i.e Sedentary, Lightly Active, Active, or Very Active) and your weekly loss rate you chose.

I would recommend reading through the first three posts in this thread on the MFP Fitbit Users group...
