Going on holiday, should I forget the logging and enjoy myself (in moderation), or continue logging and be just as strict ??

Enjoy yourself in moderation, whether you choose to log or not1

Continue logging AND enjoy yourself, is my recommendation. That is, loosen up on your calorie restrictions, but continue to track what you are eating. Unless you really don't like logging, in which case, just take some time off (in moderation).1

I am on a holiday now and will do like I have always done. Go up to maintenance - log to the best of my ability but accept that it is holiday logging and not the best. Generally I stay on weight as have very active holidays (hiking) but in one case I gained 1kg but lost it soon after the holiday again I suspect that was mostly water retention from a log haul flight. My logging continues as I don't like losing my streak0

Treat it as a diet break eating at maintenace0

If you don't log in (after so many days) the app resets the number of days you have logged in to "0". I found that out the hard way. Some say that you can fix it in the systems preferences interface, but, I have't tried. If this isn't important to you, I wouldn't worry about it. One way around logging every meal is to check in once per day and estimate your calories.0

Eat with moderation, if wanting something (a little cake calling out to you), a special meal at a restaurant (not able to eat at home).. allow to have when desired. If logging and not able to log instantly, possible adding as note, log it later on.
Or be free for a while, go by feeling, choosing natural foods mostly, eating until pleasantly full but not stuffed, treats with care.. & enjoy.
Trying eating when hungry, if not so hungry, not needing to have a second portion if feeling needing to force feed yourself.
