Wanted to share this resource I use frequently to estimate beer calories from the ABV. Scroll down for a handy table.

I've learned that it is easy to drink a HUGE number of calories in craft beer. I still love brewery tastings, but I go much less often, and limit myself to one pint -- or a half-pint if it's available. Or a flight of little tasting glasses that adds up to a pint or less!

Guiness is probably the closest thing to diet craft beer. That said, it's nowhere near my favorite. My taste buds want 300 calorie a pint double IPA's. As you can imagine, I can wreck a whole week of calorie deficits in one day of partying.

I've also found that as long as I know the type and ABV, the calories posted for similar beers tend to be fairly accurate when I cross check here. Whenever I get a growler fill I ask for the ABV to be written on if possible. It definitely is easy. I love imperials and doubles/tripels and know how easily they can sneak up on you on a good night out!
