I'm New

My husband introduced me to this app (and weight lifting in general). I have goals to decrease my run time on my next 5k (last time was over 44 minutes...I run slow...whatever, I walked.) I also want to increase muscle mass and try to compete in a bikini/fitness competition! I'm 46 and relatively active! Add me if you'd like to connect!!

    I'm a slow runner as well. Is the lifting helping with your run times? For me, it seems to help. :) Welcome to MFP!

    I'm not sure yet actually-I started focusing on weight training and haven't been able to adequately measure my time!
